Melinda was predestined to be your wife,

Whilst still in your mother’s womb

God began to fashion and groom

 

He saw by the time you became a man

The world for many, would be just dry land

Your creations were endowed by our Creator

Knowing, children everywhere, would be your benefactor

 

Your creativity has been undoubtedly, executory

Tis, an amazing epistolary

For a man who has achieved innumerable prosperity

Has resorted to saving life with such propensity

 

I wish you blessings and a life that’s long

And for you to be always, healthy and strong

The Pearly Gates of Heaven, on you, has shone its Jasper Light

May you and Melinda’s lives, be happy and forever bright!

When Bill Gates’ stocks (Microsoft) first sold in 1985, the IPO was $0.125 US. It is quite amazing to see not only the innovations of Microsoft, but the world-wide market share of Microsoft-Windows. However, I think more amazing than the enormous success of Microsoft, is the selflessness of Bill and Melinda, their gratitude for their blessed life, to have given in excess of Thirty Three Billion US Dollars to their Foundation – Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This Foundation devotes its time and resources to improving health conditions in developing countries. It is no wonder then, why, Mr. Warren Buffet donated Thirty One Billion US Dollars to Bill & Melinda’s Foundation. “Their shared view is that the capitalist system that has enriched them so handsomely is not capable of addressing the root cause of poverty.” My wish today is that “World-Leaders” would think, look and see through the minds, hearts and eyes of these “amazing-grace” people – Bill, Melinda and Warren.
