PARALLEL COURSE
Life and love is a parallel course
And many are left with remorse,
Having feelings without meaning
A most unhappy way of living

Two people that are truly in love
Is like a perfect pair of glove,
Fitting so neatly on the right
The left is snug and tight

For others, love is severe punishment
Being left in banishment,
Eyes often filled with tears
Consumed by doubts and fears

For some, love is a lasting pleasure
The greatest of their treasure,
And those that are left alone
Torment and pain follows their groan!

In this world there are those who maintain that sparkle of “I do until death do us part,” and they make it through this sojourners life. For others, they are wayfarers filled with disappointments, doubts, fears, pangs, pines and grief. I do not believe that life is fair but I also do not believe that God is “unfair.” I see life as a deck of cards and we must play the hand that we are dealt!
