HE CRIED
Finding oneness with God in spirituality
Seeing beyond the physical reality,
Being allowed to see by our merciful God
What they did to our loving Lord

In the dark garden how He cried
Knowing that they would pierce His side,
A crown of thorns would be on His head
They would not care for the words He said

Feeling the nail that would pierce His hand
He would die at the hands of mortal man,
Selflessly giving up His deity
For the redemption of humanity

Cognizant that the Lord gave His life
And yet we live in strife,
O! How He must still be in grief
Our wantonness, He has no relief!

Continuing down the road of perdition, we crucify our Lord – over and over again, but one day this will come to an end. Blessed are those who have called upon His name.
